Barcelona suffer their heaviest defeat in European competition since 1997 as Bayern thrash them 4-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal tie. Curiously, when the two teams last met in Europe, back in 2008/09, Barca had thrashed Bayern 4-0 in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie at the Nou Camp.
